The difference

Stop rebuilding the same things.

Every SaaS needs auth, billing, and AI. Here's what that looks like with and without SaaS Starter.

Without SaaS Starter

  • Week 1–2Set up auth: Google OAuth, magic links, sessions, middleware
  • Week 2–3Integrate billing: Stripe / Lemon Squeezy, webhooks, plan gates
  • Week 3–4Build a dashboard UI from scratch
  • Week 4–5Wire up AI API with usage tracking and credit limits
  • Week 5–6Deployment config, security headers, debugging, polish

6 weeks before you write a single line of real product code.

With SaaS Starter

  • Day 1Clone repo, fill in .env, deploy to Vercel
  • Day 1Auth working — Google OAuth + email magic links
  • Day 1Billing live — Lemon Squeezy + webhooks handled
  • Day 1AI playground with per-user credit system
  • Day 1Build your actual product and start selling

Everything ready on day one. Focus on your product from minute one.

What makes it different

Built for the SaaS you will actually run.

1

Billing belongs to the organization

A person can belong to several workspaces, each with its own plan, credits, members and invoice. Most starters bill a single user, and changing that later is a rewrite.

2

Two payment providers, one interface

Lemon Squeezy and Stripe sit behind the same PaymentProvider interface. Switching is one environment variable, and signed webhooks from either land in the same handler.

3

Ten languages, four right-to-left

Locale-prefixed routing, native digits in numbers and dates, and transactional emails sent in each recipient's saved language.

4

An audit trail that survives deletion

Every privileged action is written to an append-only log in the same transaction as the change, so the trail can never drift from what happened.

5

Deploy wherever you want

Vercel config, a multi-stage Dockerfile and Kubernetes overlays, plus pipelines for GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, Azure, Jenkins and CircleCI.

6

State management three ways

Redux Toolkit, Zustand and TanStack Query, each where it fits, with working Redux and Zustand demos side by side.

7

See what production is doing

Structured logs in Elasticsearch and Kibana, errors in Sentry, Dynatrace ingestion and a health endpoint. All off until you set a variable.

FAQ

Common questions

What stack does this use?

Next.js 16 (App Router), TypeScript, Prisma with PostgreSQL, NextAuth v5 (Google OAuth + magic links), Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, the Anthropic Claude API, and Lemon Squeezy or Stripe for billing. Everything is production-ready and deployable to Vercel.

How long does it take to set up?

About 30–60 minutes. Clone the repo, fill in your .env file (database, auth, your payment provider, Anthropic keys), run the migrations, and deploy to Vercel. The full setup guide is included.

Do I need coding experience?

Yes — this is a developer boilerplate, not a no-code tool. You should be comfortable with React and TypeScript. The codebase is clean and well-structured so you can move fast even if you're new to some of the stack.

Can I use this for multiple projects?

Yes. One purchase grants a perpetual license to build and ship unlimited products. The Individual License is for one person using the code; the Business License covers everyone in one organization. Everything you build on top of it is yours.

Do I get future updates?

Yes. Updates to the version you bought are free. As Next.js, Prisma, NextAuth, and the Claude API evolve, the boilerplate is kept up to date; a future major version may be offered as a separate paid upgrade.

What is the difference between the two licenses?

Both include the same code and the same updates. The Individual License is for one person using the code. The Business License covers everyone in one organization. You can upgrade later by paying the difference.

Can I use this for client projects?

Yes, with either license: build as many client products as you like. The Individual License covers one person writing the code; when more people in your organization use it, get the Business License.
